Hi! I’m Jessicah: a creative communications strategist and experiential producer who believes the most powerful stories are the ones people can feel.

For more than a decade, I’ve helped cities, leaders, and mission-driven organizations communicate with clarity, confidence, and purpose. My work sits at the intersection of public relations, experiential impact, and creative storytelling — empowering change makers and brands to build trust, inspire action, and show up as the strongest version of who they are.

From Purpose to Impact

Across every role, whether behind a podium, behind the scenes, or behind a creative vision, my purpose remains the same: Uplift underrepresented voices and shift narratives for good.

  • Previously, I served as the Chief Communications Officer for the City of Boston, where I led strategic communications for Mayor Wu’s Office and guided narrative direction during moments of visibility, crisis, and transformation.

  • Before my work in the Mayor’s Office, I founded J. Pierre Communications, a boutique PR firm dedicated to amplifying the voices of purpose-driven leaders, nonprofits, and organizations advancing equity and community power.

  • Over the years, I’ve:

    • Led communications for national organizations and citywide initiatives

    • Produced human-centered experiences that tell powerful community stories

    • Created digital platforms to get young people civically engaged

    • Shaped messaging strategies that strengthen credibility and trust

The circles contain the following text: 'Craft bold, authentic messaging,' 'Increase visibility and credibility,' 'Produce purpose-driven storytelling experiences,' 'Build genuine community and trust,' 'Strategize for long-term growth.'

You’ve got the vision. Let’s make it LOUDER.

Whether you’re a public leader, or purpose-driven brand, I’ll help you communicate your story in a way that connects — and creates change.
